This wooden geometric hand crafted mask represents the Bwa people from Burkina Fasso. It is often used during the Bobo festival to represent that the sun, along with the rain and earth will ensure healthy harvest. Monochrome is used for these masks to allow versatility and ensures that the mask can be styled with almost any décor. Traditionally masks have been incorporated into African ceremonies for thousands of years.
